Cylindrical filter elements are relatively simple to handle compared to pleated filter elements. The cylindrical filter element may be mono-layered or multi-layered depending on the filter medium. It usually consists of reinforcement mesh and filter mesh. Most use a variety of perforated stainless steel mesh as a support mesh or protection mesh. The production method is usually welding and sintering, usually in the form of a pipe or a cylindrical filter.
